This house was proposed to complete an unfinished city block on a visually exposed corner at entrance of Roudná district. This district is characteristic for its one hundred years old brick houses. That is why we proposed a new building in a similar style with proportion of windows typical for those old houses. The building site is very wide and was planned together with the original layout of this district. This wide facade of the house is therefore distracted by the composition of large square windows. The exposed corner is raised which helps to complete the composition of the small square with school in its centre.

The main theme of the building is authentic brickwork on the facade. No imitations or brick cladding but solid brick walls built on top of the concrete ledges united in white paint. Handwork and irregularities of the masonry were welcomed.
