The construction of the Bella Bohemia ship is based on the investor's request for a sightseeing vessel with ecological, completely emission-free operation, intended for year-round sightseeing cruises through Prague. The engine drive is purely electric, and Bella Bohemia is the first larger boat approved for operation on European watercourses. Ecological propulsion required a low weight of the ship, so an aluminum construction of the catamaran type was chosen.
Architect Vera Hampl used the corporate colours of the investor, Prague Boats, for the exterior design of the ship. The lower covered deck allows passengers an impressive view through fully glazed walls. The bar with a metallic front structured with a mosaic motif and a bar board made of artificial stone is complemented by comfortable designer aluminum benches. The interior is insulated with wooden decor floors. The upper uncovered deck, also with designer aluminum benches, allows passengers a panoramic view in all directions.
